Macaulay Culkin and Brenda Song got all glammed up for the 2026 Golden Globes.
The couple coordinated in all black at the 83rd annual awards show on Sunday, January 11, at The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
Culkin, 45, looked dapper in a classic tux, while Song, 37, took a fashion risk with daring cutouts around the midriff of her black gown. The pair looked elegant as they posed side by side on the red carpet.
Days before the awards ceremony, Culkin was announced as one of many A-list presenters set to make an appearance. He was previously nominated for a Golden Globe in 1991 for his role as Kevin McCallister in the holiday classic Home Alone.
Culkin and Song have kept their relationship relatively low-key since working together on the 2017 movie Changeland. The couple have welcomed two sons since their romance began, but they aren’t in a hurry to tie the knot.

“We talked about eloping,” Song revealed in a joint interview with Culkin for Cosmopolitan‘s Love Issue in January 2025. “But I was like, ‘If we eloped, my mom would have a heart attack that she wasn’t going to be there.’”
While Culkin joked that Song was “thoroughly unimpressed” with him when they were first introduced by mutual friend Seth Green in 2014, the former Disney Channel star changed her tune after their experience filming Changeland.
“I saw this person he put out there — it was a product of this armor that he’s put on to protect himself,” Song recalled. “But I could see that that wasn’t really who he was; I could see these glimpses of this really interesting, very sensitive, very intelligent, artistic person that he doesn’t really let show.”
She added, “We were both very hurt in past relationships and kept expectations low.”
Culkin admitted that he’d “never felt this way” about another partner. (The actor was previously married to Rachel Miner from 1998 to 2002.)
“I believed in her. I mean, I believed in people before, but I believed in her down to my bone marrow,” he explained. “You know what I mean? I put it behind the armor though, behind that shield.”
Public declarations of affection have been few and far between for the couple, but in December 2023, Culkin proudly gushed over Song while being honored with his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
“You’re my champion,” he said at the time. “The only person happier for me today than I am. You’re not only the best woman I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known. You’ve given me all my purpose. You’ve given me [a] family.”
More recently, the former child star has shared rare insight into his role as a father of two.
“There’s a word that I use in my household because it’s something that I didn’t really hear enough of when I was a kid. And that’s ‘proud,’” Culkin said in a December 2025 episode of the “Mythical Kitchen” YouTube series. “Man, I’m proud of my kids.”
Culkin continued, “My kid, he does his recital and the curtain opens and he’s really excited about it. He’s going to play a bug. As soon as the curtain opens, he freezes, he cries and he runs off stage. And so I go and scoop him up. And the first thing out of my mouth is, ‘Man, I’m so proud of you. You were so brave to go out there like that. Like, you did that? Like there’s so many people! … I love your costume. I’m proud of you.’”
