I’m picky when it comes to athleisure. It has to be just the right material, fit, style and design and trust me when I say I’m the biggest stickler for comfort! I had my phase of buying cute, trendy clothes that checked the fashion box but not the comfort box . . . didn’t we all? Needless to say, those items have since made their merry way to Goodwill.
As such, athleisure is something I’m used to splurging on; the majority of high-quality pieces are north of the $100 mark, especially when it comes to pants. All of my favorite leggings, joggers and sweatpants cost about $128 each, a price tag that makes me twinge but that I’ve come to accept . . . until now! I found a set of three ultra-stretchy, dangerously soft joggers on Amazon that I like more than my expensive ones. These joggers come out to just over $12 each!
Made of a lightweight polyester and spandex blend, these joggers are skin-soft, smooth and bouncy. They have a flattering high-rise fit, two pockets, elastic ankles and a drawstring waist that keeps them in place. The waistband is also elastic, so I recommend going up a size, particularly if you’re between sizes!
The fabric allows you to move free as a bird, whether for yoga, lifting, running, bike riding, sleeping, working, walking or having lunch with grandparents. I wear these joggers for all of the above as well! Plus, they couldn’t be easier to dress up with a sweater, sneakers or loafers and a nice bag.
If you want to go the athleisure route, try wearing these joggers with white sneakers, a zip-up sweatshirt and a belt bag. (Rich mom alert!) They’re equally suitable for lounging around the house, too. Don’t be afraid to do it all!
