Homicide investigation underway at home in Santa Monica

SANTA MONICA, Calif. () — Police descended on a Santa Monica neighborhood Tuesday morning after at least one person was killed.

The crime scene appeared to be a home at the corner of 18th Street and Delaware Avenue.

Details were limited, but the Santa Monica Police Department confirmed they were investigating a homicide. The circumstances surrounding the death were unclear.

Investigators were seen walking through the home as they tried to piece together what happened. Crime scene tape was placed on the street outside the home, as well as inside.
