BALDWIN PARK, Calif. () — An investigation is underway after a fire erupted at a strip mall in Baldwin Park overnight, damaging several businesses.
The fire started just before 1 a.m. Tuesday off Ramona Boulevard near Durbin Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire spewing out of the building, including the roof, and the blaze was quickly declared a second alarm incident. Crews extinguished the flames in roughly one hour.
A flower shop and Mexican restaurant in the strip mall sustained the most damage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
