Dua Lipa entered 2026 in her hottest attire.
Lipa, 30, showed off a number of outfits she wore while celebrating the new year via Instagram on Thursday, January 1, including a semi-sheer silver dress that was sure to turn heads. The sequin-covered number was equipped with halter straps, a scoop neckline and a bodycon silhouette.
The singer accessorized with diamond dangly earrings and delicate silver rings. She donned soft glam, including golden-brown eyeshadow, rosy cheeks and pink, glossy lips. Her brunette hair was parted down the middle and worn down with big, bouncy curls throughout.
Lipa also turned up the heat in a fiery outfit featuring a flame design over her bodice, a plunging neckline and leather patchwork. Lipa teamed the look with silver cross earrings and an intricate manicure with colorful polka dots. She let her natural beauty shine with minimal makeup, including a touch of mascara and lined lips. Lipa sipped on a cocktail while giving the camera a pout.
“Somehow this feels like a Facebook post,” Lipa captioned the carousel of photos. “☆HAPPY NEW YEAR 2026☆ Wishing you all so much love and joy and blessings for this year ahead☆ Thank you for making my last year so special☆ I’m excited to make this the best one yet ☆!!!!!” Lipa fans wished her a good year in the comments section.
“Happy new year my queen ❤️,” one wrote. A second added, “Love the diva look,” while a third follower commented, “Happy New Year Beautiful 😍🥰😍🥰.”
This isn’t the first see-through dress Lipa has worn. At the Barbie premiere in Los Angeles in July 2023, she left little to the imagination in another silver getup by Bottega Veneta. The chainmail design was complete with thick straps and a plunging square neckline that exposed her chest. Her dress was finished with a flowy, floor-length skirt.
Underneath, Lipa wore a chrome thong, which matched her pointed-toe heels. She added even more sparkle to her look with a diamond necklace, silver rings and coordinating earrings.
Lipa previously opened up about how she and her longtime stylist, Lorenzo Posocco, dress her on stage while chatting with Vogue in September 2025. “There was immediate trust,” Lipa said while recalling when the duo met a decade ago.
To create her sexy look for her Radical Optimism tour, Lipa wanted to mix “high fashion” pieces with stage wear.
She opened the show in a gold John Paul Gautier bodysuit before changing into a sheer Guci catsuit, which she wore with matching boots.
“I feel like it really complements the visuals of that part of the set, which is, to begin with, quite bright lights and then the image on the screen is kind of this black and white burlesque imagery,” she explained. “When we go into ‘Levitating,’ it goes into more of the cosmos [and] the outfit almost looks like it’s part of the background.”
