Dozens of bicyclists seen riding with the traffic on 101 Freeway, video shows

ECHO PARK, LOS ANGELES () — New video shows a bizarre scene on the 101 Freeway in Echo Park, where dozens of people were seen riding bicycles on the freeway on Saturday afternoon.

The video from the Citizen app was submitted around 2:30 p.m. and was captured in the northbound lanes of the 101 Freeway between Rampart Boulevard and Alvarado Street.

Dozens of bicyclists can be seen riding amongst the traffic, with some riders doing wheelies.

California Highway Patrol said it had not received any calls about the incident, but several witnesses called the Eyewitnes News newsroom to report what they saw.
