DD Café in Garden Grove shut down for alleged nudity, alcohol

GARDEN GROVE, Calif. () — Investigators shut down DD Café in Garden Grove and made over a dozen arrests after there were complaints of nudity and illegal alcohol sales on the premises.

According to the Garden Grove Police Department, the shop was operating as a “bikini café.” The investigation resulted in 17 arrests, including two managers, with the location being red-tagged for code violations.

Many Yelp reviews were fans of the café and the available adult entertainment. However, the food seemed to be an afterthought.

Since the business was red-tagged, the owner will have to fix whatever was in violation before following up with code enforcement. They will then need to follow up with the city about their permit to operate.
