NORCO, Calif. () — The best of breakfast and lunch, with a wide variety of Mexican and American classics.

This week we landed at Corona Airport Café Express in Norco.

“I feel like a part of this place, and that’s why I come every morning for breakfast,” customer Debbie Hill said.

It’s a family-owned business that started in the Corona Airport and now operates in Norco, in the Hidden Valley Village shopping center.

“Delicious food, homemade food, everything from scratch, fresh ingredients every day,” owner Daniela Pacciardi said.

Soaring into town three years ago, the restaurant has quickly become a beloved part of the community and everyday life for many customers.

“This gives me a sense of family,” Hill said. “I lost my husband four years ago, and when they opened up, it brought me a sense of calm in a storm.”

Corona Airport Café Express is known for its chorizo gravy. Big spoonfuls are poured over hashbrowns and served in a sizzling hot skillet.

Massive breakfast burritos and chilaquiles are also bestsellers.

If steak and eggs, avocado toast or fluffy waffles with strawberries are more your speed, they have those, too.

You can also order off the lunch menu all day or try out one of their monthly specials.

Pacciardi said business at the Corona Airport Café Express has hit some turbulence, and they’re hoping for smoother skies ahead.

“Like many small businesses, we have been with a lot of challenges with this economy these days,” Pacciardi said. “But thanks to our community, we keep going every day.”

Corona Airport Café Express is open daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The restaurant is located at 1161 Hidden Valley Pkwy., in Norco.
