The rumors are true. Chris Evans is back in the Marvel fold as Steve Rogers.
Marvel dropped a new teaser for “Avengers: Doomsday” online. It has no dialogue, but the pictures are worth more than a thousand words!
The teaser shows Evans riding up to a home on a motorcycle. He takes off his helmet and walks to the door. Once inside, he takes out his Captain America suit. The teaser then shows Rogers looking adoringly at a baby as he holds the child in his arms. The screen goes to black as the words “Steve Rogers Will Return in Avengers: Doomsday” fade up.
Joe and Anthony Russo, who are directing the film, posted the teaser to Instagram with the caption, “The character that changed our lives. The story that brought us all here together. It was always going to come back to this…”
The first Marvel film the Russo Brothers directed was “Captain America: The Winter Soldier.”

It will be in theaters December 18, 2026.
Before that, though, “Avengers: Endgame” will be re-released in theaters in September, 2026.
