This is the moment a daredevil 78-year-old went rope swinging – for the first time in her life.
Barbara took the 500-foot plunge at the USA’s longest rope swing site in Moab, Utah, on Friday, March 20.
In a video taken by Andy Lewis, co-founder of Moab Swingers, Barbara says she’s “never done anything like this before.”
Footage shows the heartstopping moment Barbara leapt off the cliff’s edge and swung below, before being hauled back up to safety.
Andy, of Moab Swingers, said: “I was fully inspired to be able to do what she was doing at 78 – what a legend!
“She loved every second of it.
“She said it was a super pleasurable experience for her.
“We really try to design the swing so anyone can use it, including elderly people, children, and those with disabilities.
“So it’s great seeing it taken full advantage of!”
