WOODLAND HILLS, LOS ANGELES () — There was lot of commotion overnight in a Woodland Hills neighborhood where Los Angeles police captured five burglary suspects.

Police say they arrested some of the suspects when they returned to the scene hours after the first arrets were made following an attempted break0in. Investigators believe they were targeting a particular home.

Neighbors told Eyeitnewss News they heard a lot of sirens and a helicopter in the neighborhood early Sunday morning.

In total, five suspects were taken into custody related to the attempted burglary, according to police.

Police said a witness called 911 around midnight, saying they saw what looked like people trying to break into a home in the 5100 of Campo Road.

The witness gave police descriptions, and officers were able to arrest three men just down the street from Campo Road on Velicata Street. LAPD said officers also searched a car nearby and found tools inside.

Hours later, another call came in, saying that it appeared people were trying to break into the same home again on Campo Road.

Police returned, and after a short pursuit, they were able to detain two women.

“People are choosing the wrong ways to look for money, so I guess that’s probably one cause of it. I hope things get better, and hopefully we don’t see this as much anymore,” one neighbor said.

Investigators don’t believe there are any outstanding suspects. It’s still under investigation if anything was taken from the home.
